Booking from Abroad -  Visa Nationals

  • Check if you need visa to enter UK with a British Embassy in your Country. For contact details of British Embassies in your country, please click here.
  • You need to decide what TYPE of accommodation you wish to book.
  • Then select the availbale board for the type of accommodation.
  • Choose how many weeks you wish to book accommodation for, this can be 1 week to 1 year.
  • You do not need to choose the start date - this can be confirmed after you have received your visa as even if you choose the date, it may change due to visa procedure or delay in getting it.
  • Once you have decided on the above, please contact The UK Stay with the following details: your name, surname, date of birth, passport number, home address, and the details of the accommodation that you wish to book.
  • We will issue you with an invoice and e-mail it or fax it to you as per your choice.
  • Once you have cleared the payment, we will issue you with the letter confirming that you have booked and paid for accommodation.
  • This letter will be sent to you and also to the British Embassy on the day of your interview.
  • Once you have received your visa, you will need to contact The UK Stay immediately and notify us of your arrival date. REMEMBER you need to give at least two weeks notice for The UK Stay to find and book a suitable place for you. In busy periods we may refuse your booking unless a full 2 week notice is given.
  • We will then send you the address and the contact details of your accommodation.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not book your address before you have received your visa as in the unfortunate event you are refused an entry clearance you will be able to receive a full refund less the booking fee as it is non refundable in all cases. This letter will be accepted by the British Embassy. Should you wish to have the address before your visa interview, please tell us in advance, and choose the starting date. We will then book your accommodation, however should you not be able to cancel your accommodation in time (2 weeks notice before your chosen start date) we will not be able to refund you your accommodation fees of at least 2 weeks as we will need to pay the family for the short notice cancellation. If you need further advice about any of the above, please contact us and one of our experienced and helpfull staff will be able to advice you.

  • If you are in UK already and you wish to view the accommodation before booking please ask us.
